May 20th 2025 Releases

This month, SubcontractorHub introduces several new features and improvements designed to enhance workflow efficiency, improve financial integrations, and streamline proposal management. Here’s a look at the latest updates:

AI-Assisted Design Tool Updates

The AI-Assisted Design Tool has received a significant upgrade with several new features aimed at enhancing your design experience:

  • Setback Lines: Now available in Edit Mode for easier visualization and compliance.
  • Panel Colors: A new toggle allows you to enable panel coloring for better clarity.
  • Improved Full-Screen Design: Homes are now centered on the screen when working in full-screen mode, providing a more intuitive layout.
  • Facet Panel Visualization: Unselected panels within a facet will now appear transparent and outlined with a white border for improved distinction.
  • Obstruction Tools: You can now add obstructions in Edit Mode using square, circle, and custom-shaped tools.

Proposal Sales to EPC Chat

Sales teams connected to EPCs can now communicate directly within proposals. EPCs are notified and can reply in the same thread, making collaboration seamless. Be sure chat permissions are enabled for sales reps..

Email Notifications for Notes in Proposals

When a user is tagged in a proposal note using @mention, they’ll now receive an email notification—never miss a key update again.

LightReach “Select Price Method” Dropdown in Financing

When a battery is added to a LightReach proposal, a “Select Price Method” dropdown appears. Available options (e.g., kWh rate or raw cost) depend on the selected utility.

Toggle IGS Solar Domestic Content Pricing

Now you can enable a domestic content toggle under the financing section. Once active, pricing will update to reflect domestic incentives.

Installation Photos Based on Finance Partner

Installation photo labels for projects can now be added to the database based on the selected finance partner. This means projects financed by certain finance partners will require specific installation photos.

Net Billing Vs Net Metering Toggle

A new toggle in the pricing summary lets you choose between Net Billing and Net Metering in the public proposals. The selected option will automatically appear as an FAQ topic in public proposals.

Webhook Updates

Two new buttons- Resend Trigger and Resend Payload, are now available in the webhook activity log. These let you send new or existing data again to the webhook URL with a single click.

Mapping Batteries for Enfin Lease in Aurora Proposals

When creating Enfin lease proposals, Aurora battery identifiers are now required. These batteries are synced directly from Aurora, eliminating the need for manual mapping.
