IGS Solar Sales Walkthrough

Follow the steps below to learn how to use IGS Solar within the SubcontractorHub sales flow. 


Step 1: Sign in with your username and password.

Step 2: Click "New Customer" in the top right-hand corner to create a new lead.

Step 3: Input the customer’s address and basic information. The address can be added manually by clicking on the “Manual Address” checkbox. Select the job type and assign it to a user by clicking “Assign To”. Fill out setter and lead source details, as well as other information.

Step 4: Click “Create customer” in the top-right corner of the page.

Step 5: You have now created a proposal card. Click "View Detail" to begin generating a design and pricing.

Note: You can currently only design with Aurora for IGS Solar. Before quoting, make sure that:

  • Aurora is integrated for your organization.
  • Make sure that Aurora users are mapped in SubcontractorHub.

Step 6: Choose “Owner” for your Aurora Project.

Step 7: Click “Design in Aurora”.

Step 8: Enter your Aurora Credentials.

Step 9: Locate the house of your customer, click “Site” and select “SmartRoof Pitched”. 

Step 10: Edit SmartRoof if needed.

Step 11: Click “Irradiance” on top of the design to get an irradiance map. Make sure to take a screenshot of the irradiance map.

Step 12: Click on “System”, next to Site, click "Panel".

Choose your module and click on “Fill Roof Face”.

Step 13: Select your panels and Click on “Fill Roof Face”.

Step 14: Click on the side of the roof to autofill with panels.

Step 15: Click the “Save” button on the top left corner.

Step 16: Click “Simulate System” on the top right corner.

Step 17: Click on “Download” (Down key button) and select “DFX”.

Step 18: Click “Export”.

Step 19: Click on “Download” (Down key button) and select “Shade Report”.

Step 20: Download the shading report.

Step 21: Click on the “Sync From Aurora” button.

Step 22: Your Aurora Design is ready with system size details. 

Step 23: Scroll down to the battery recommendation section of the proposal. Turn on the toggle to enable the battery algorithm. 

Step 24: Choose if you would like to quote a backup battery OR a grid-tied battery here.

Step 25: Add as many rooms or appliances as your customer needs to back up. Select the room or appliance to increase or decrease the quantity. The battery recommendation algorithm will calculate how many batteries the customer needs to back up the added rooms or appliances and increase or decrease the number accordingly. Select the desired battery for the project. 

Step 26: If you require additional adders to your quote, scroll down to the “Add-on” section. This section is optional. Click “Choose Adders”.

Step 27: Select the adders and click “Done”.

Step 28: Scroll down to the financing section and select Financing (Fully Integrated), then click “IGS Solar”. Choose the utility from the drop-down menu to begin the financing process. Click “Create Account”.

Step 29: Select the "Escalator" from the dropdown. 

Step 30: Select the "KWH rate" from the dropdown.

Step 31: Finally, click "Create Quote".

Step 32: Click “Finalize” located on the finance card. 

Step 33: Click “Sign Electronic Consent” to proceed. 

Step 34: Choose an action and click “Send”.

Note:

  • If you select "In Person", the system will prompt you when to hand control over to the homeowner. Only choose "In Person" if you are conducting an in-home consultation.
  • If not meeting in person, select "Email" to send the consent electronically.

Step 35: Click “open URL” to open the URL in a new tab. 

Step 36: Provide control access by clicking “Continue”.

Step 37: Give your consent to use electronic records and signatures by ticking the checkbox and clicking “Continue”.

Step 38: Go through the Electronic Enrollment Consent and click on the space provided to add your signature. 

Step 39: Draw or upload your signature and click “Adopt and Sign”.

Step 40: Click “Finish” and enter the email ID to receive a copy of the document. 

Step 41: Click “Continue” to pass control.

Step 42: Return to SubcontractorHub and close the popup window.

Step 43: Click “Sync Quotes” to update the current status. 

Step 44: Click “Send Application to HomeOwner”.

Note: Clicking “Send Application To Homeowner” sends the qualification form to your customer via email. They can open the link from the email and qualify themselves. 

Step 45: Enter the customer details in the space provided.

Step 46: Check the acknowledgment box, and click on the “Submit” button.

Step 47: Once the customer qualifies, click the “Sync Quotes” button again to update. 

You have now qualified with IGS Solar. 

Step 48: Now click “Sign Finance Contract” to proceed. Choose an action and click “Send”.

Note:

  • If you select "In Person", the system will prompt you when to hand control over to the homeowner. Only choose "In Person" if you are conducting an in-home consultation.
  • If not meeting in person, select "Email" to send the consent electronically.

Step 49: Click “Open URL” to open the URL in a new tab. 

Step 50: Provide control access by clicking “Continue”.

Step 51: Click “Call”.

Step 52: Once the customer receives the call, click “Phone Authentication Complete”.

Step 53: Give your consent to use electronic records and signatures by ticking the checkbox and clicking “Continue”.

Step 54: Go through the documents carefully and sign on all the spaces provided to add your signature. 

Step 55: Click “Finish” and enter the email ID to receive a copy of the document. 

Step 56: Close the popup window on SubcontractorHub. 

Step 57: Click “Sync Quotes” to update the current status.

Step 58: Click on the "Welcome Call" button and share the number visible on the screen with the homeowner to complete the process.

Step 59: Once the welcome call verification is complete, the button changes to green colour.

Step 60: After completing the payment process, the “Send Payment” button changes to green colour. 

Step 61: Click "Payment information Received" button, then select “Yes” to notify the homeowner that their payment has been received.

Step 62: Next, click “Upload IGS Documents” and upload the required documents.

Note: This step is optional. Even if you do not upload the IGS documents, your proposal can be converted into a project.

With the above mentioned steps, your proposal is now ready to be converted into a project.
