What Does A Public Proposal Contain?

SubcontractorHub provides organizations with a default proposal layout which is described in detail below. However, organizations can also customize public proposals to include specific information or remove particular slides if necessary.

Cover Slide


This slide displays the organization’s name and customer’s address. The customer’s name and address are located to the bottom left. The proposal owner’s name and email address are located to the bottom right. 

Your Home Design Slide

The left side displays the design image.

The right side displays system size, panel type, estimated consumption, estimated production, adder and battery (if selected) details.

Financial Impact Slide

Payment Graph

This graph depicts the month-wise energy consumption and solar production of the installation.

Savings Graph

This graph showcases the impact that solar has on the customer’s bill with details of the pre-solar annual bill and post-solar annual bill year-wise.

The left side displays the current average utility bill, 25th year average utility bill of the customer, the current annual utility bill and 25th year annual utility bill of the customer. Below this, the 25-year cost of not installing a solar installation is displayed. 

The right side displays the year-wise pre and post solar utility bill graph. 

Your Utility Bill Details Slide

The section on the left displays the customer’s current average monthly utility bill, estimated annual increase and 25-year cost of not installing solar. 

The section in the centre displays the current year utility bill graph. Below that the current year consumption and current year annual utility bill details are shown. 

The section on the right consists of the solar offset pie chart and 25-year solar savings information.

Utility Section

This section displays the post-solar utility bill, current consumption, estimated cost per kwh and annual utility rate increase details. 


System Details Section

This section displays the system cost, first year production, solar offset, number of panel, annual degradation of system and 25-year production details. 


Cost Summary Section

This section displays the costs related to the installation:

System Cost

Battery Total

Net System Cost (System cost  +  Battery Total)

Net Cost Rebates (For example, the Federal Solar Tax Credit (ITC))

Net Payable Amount (Net System Cost - Net Cost Rebates)

This slide includes comprehensive FAQs covering net metering, upfront cost, warranty, moving, maintenance and the tax credit.
