How To Share and Sign Contracts
Follow the steps below to share a contract with a signer.
This process may be slightly different depending on your organization's settings and e-sign provider.
Option 1
Step 1: Click on the “Contract” button in the proposal header.
Step 2: Click on the “Perfect Packet List” icon.
Step 3: Check if all required items are added. Click on the box to mark as done. Then click on the “Next” button.
Step 4: Click on the “Sign Via Docusign” button.
Step 5: Click on the “Open” button to sign the documents in the next tab, or copy the URL.
Step 6: Direct the first signer to sign the document and click on the “Finish” button. After the first sign is completed, the document will be forwarded to the next signer until all signs are complete. After that, the proposal will convert into a project.
Option 2
Step 1: Click on the “Contract” button in the proposal header.
Step 2: Click on the “Perfect Packet List” icon.
Step 3: Check if all required items are added. Click on the box to mark as done. Then click on the “Next” button.
Step 4: Click on the “Send Via Docusign” icon. The document will be sent to the signer.
Step 5: Click on the “Open” button to open the envelope in another tab, or copy the URL.
Step 6: Once the envelope is opened, click on the “Send” button. The documents will be sent via email to all added signers.
Step 7: Direct the first signer to sign the document and click on the “Finish” button. After the first sign is completed, the document will be forwarded to the next signer until all signs are complete. After that, the proposal will convert into a project.
