How to Share and Sign Contracts

Sales reps can initiate the contract signing process directly from a proposal in SubcontractorHub using built-in e-sign options. Whether signing on the spot or sending documents via email, these tools streamline the path from proposal to project. Follow the steps below to complete the Perfect Packet Checklist and send contracts for signature.

Follow the steps below to share a contract with a signer.

Option 1

Step 1: Click “Sign Now” in the proposal header.

Step 2: The Perfect Packet Checklist will open. Check if all required items are added. Click on the box to mark as done.  Then click on the “Next” button.

Step 3: Click on the “Sign Via Docusign” button.

Step 4: Click on the “Open” button to sign the documents in the next tab, or copy the URL.

Step 5: Direct the first signer to sign the document and click on the “Finish” button. After the first sign is completed, the document will be forwarded to the next signer until all signs are complete. After that, the proposal will convert into a project.

Option 2

Step 1: Click “Sign Now” in the proposal header.

Step 2: The Perfect Packet Checklist will open. Check if all required items are added. Click on the box to mark as done.  Then click on the “Next” button.

Step 3: Click on the “Send Via Docusign” icon. The document will be sent to the signer.

Step 4: Click on the “Open” button to open the envelope in another tab, or copy the URL.

Step 5: Once the envelope is opened, click on the “Send” button. The documents will be sent via email to all added signers.

Step 6: Direct the first signer to sign the document and click on the “Finish” button. After the first sign is completed, the document will be forwarded to the next signer until all signs are complete. After that, the proposal will convert into a project.
