GoodLeapLease/PPA - Rate Dropdown
We have introduced a new, simplified way for users to generate quotes for their customers when offering Goodleap Lease/PPA finance options. In this update, users no longer need to manually enter the kWh rate or PPW to test and find the best quote for customers. Instead, we have implemented a user-friendly Rate Dropdown that includes all the necessary details for quoting at a glance.
What Has Changed?
Previously, users needed to calculate and input specific kWh rates or PPW values to generate quotes. Now, you can select pre-configured options from a dropdown that will automatically populate the required details such as:
- kWh Rate
- Price Per Watt (PPW)
- Monthly Payment
This update makes the quoting process quicker and more intuitive, reducing the chance for input errors and ensuring your quotes are consistent and accurate.
How to Use the Rate Dropdown
Select Goodleap Category
Begin by selecting the appropriate Goodleap category from the dropdown. For example, choose "SOLAR LEASES / PPAS" if applicable.
Choose a Finance Option
Once you've selected the category, a secondary dropdown for finance options will appear. Select the appropriate financing term, such as "300 Months / 25 years - 0% escalator - Lease - Solar Only."
Select the Desired Rate
Use the Rate Dropdown to choose the best rate for your customer's proposal. Options are pre-populated with different kWh rates, PPW, and monthly payments for easy selection (as shown in the screenshot). Simply click on the dropdown to view the available options, and choose the one that best suits your needs.
Add the Loan to the Proposal
After selecting the desired rate and finance option, click the "Create Quote" button to include it in the customer’s proposal. The system will automatically calculate the total based on your selections, making the process seamless.
Why This Change?
The new rate dropdown simplifies the quoting process by removing the need for manual entry of complex figures like kWh rates and PPW. It also ensures more reliable and consistent quotes, helping you to focus on providing better customer service rather than managing complex financial inputs.
