Attaching Documents to Project
Find out how to manually attach important documents, such as permits, reports, or reference files, to your project in SubcontractorHub. While some documents (like proposals or contracts) are auto-attached upon project creation, this feature allows users with the right permissions to upload additional files as needed. All attachments are stored under the “Attachments” tab for easy reference throughout the project lifecycle.
Points to Remember:
- You will be able to perform this task if your organization has provided you with the appropriate permissions on the platform.
- Some documents such as proposals, design images, and contracts are attached to the project automatically once a proposal is converted to the project.
Detailed Steps:
Step 1: Go to manage project page from the Project Menu.
Step 2: Go to your project details page. You can do that by clicking on the arrow in the Action Column next to your project details, or by clicking on the customer name.
Step 3: Click on Attachments Tab on the project details page
Step 4: Click on Add File Button on the documents page
Step 5: Put the attachment details and add the file.
