What happens when I raise a Change Order request?

Description:

After you have created a change order request, follow the below-mentioned steps:

Step 1: Initially the stage of this project was Contract Signed as seen below (from the "Customers" tab).

Step 2: After you confirm the change order step as above, the proposal is cloned and the status of the proposal will change to back to a presented stage and you will be automatically redirected to the page where you can make changes to your proposal.

Step 3: You can edit the proposal as per your requirement and process the steps as understood in the Proposals Article. In this case, you will have to get the Proposal and Contract Signed Once again.

When this proposal moves to the final stage i.e., contract signed, the new information will be synced back to the original project.

Note: There are two conditions for initiating a change order for a project. The first condition is that there cannot already be an active proposal. The second condition is that if two proposals are created and the contract for both is signed, then when creating a change order for the first proposal, the change order (copy of the proposal) will be generated only for the second, i.e. the latest proposal with the contract signed.
