How To Create A Custom Leads Page Layout
Tailor your lead data collection process with custom fields and layouts. SubcontractorHub allows you to create custom fields specific to your business needs and organize them into custom page layouts for the Leads page. This helps ensure your sales reps capture the right information every time.
Follow the steps below to create a custom page layout for the Leads page.
Step 1: From the main menu, open the “Manage Database” dropdown and select “Database”.
Step 2: Select the “Page Layout” option.
Adding Custom Fields
Step 3: Click "Custom Fields" and choose the "Lead" category to begin creating fields.
Step 4: Click “Add”.
Step 5: Fill out the custom field details.
Note: In the “Label” field, enter the name of the field (e.g., City).
The “Key” will automatically generate. The key is a unique identifier used to collect and store data in SubcontractorHub’s backend.
To make the field obligatory (marked with a red asterisk), select “Yes” in the “Is Required” dropdown; otherwise, select “No”.
Select the field type in the “Type” dropdown. Types include text, text area (a larger text box), file, dropdown (in which you can add dropdown options), date and time, number or currency.
In the “Predefined Values” dropdown, you can select a value, which will autofill your custom field. For example, selecting the “city” value will autofill the lead’s city, without having to enter it manually. Predefined values vary greatly, allowing you to pull data ranging from the contact name to the percentage of the contract price (if the lead converts to a customer and a deal is closed).
Step 6: Click “Save”.
Step 7: Click the "Edit" icon on the left to enable or disable a field.
Step 8: Click the "Edit" icon on the right to update the field details.
Step 9: Click the "Delete" icon to delete a field.
