How to Create a Lead
You can manually create leads in SubcontractorHub by entering their information directly into the platform. Use this process to track potential customers, assign team members, and move deals forward efficiently.
Follow these steps to create a lead in SubcontractorHub.
Step 1: Click on the “Leads” tab on the left-hand side.
Step 2: Click on the “Add Lead” Button.
Step 3: Fill out the lead’s personal information: address, name, and contact information. You can also assign a setter to the lead.
Some information may be required fields set by your organization.
Step 4: In the basic information section, you can select the job type, lead source and select a connected EPC installer for the lead’s project (if applicable).
Step 5: Click “Save”.
Step 6: You can now view your lead in the Leads tab.
Note: Setter and closer information for a lead can be updated based on roles, ensuring visibility is restricted according to your organization’s hierarchical needs.
Setter: The team member responsible for contacting the lead, qualifying them, and booking an appointment with a closer.
Closer: The team member responsible for presenting the proposal and finalizing the sale with the lead.
