How to Update Inverter Selection and Solar Details
SubcontractorHub allows sales reps to easily update view and update key solar proposal details—including inverter selection, mounting type, and pricing—directly within the proposal view. This helps ensure that proposal data reflects the most accurate system configuration and pricing before sharing with the customer.
Follow the steps below to familiarize yourself with the solar details section and learn how to update the inverter selection.
Step 1: Click on “Proposals” within the “Actions” section of the "Customers" tab.
Step 2: Click “View Detail” on the proposal card.
Step 3: The solar details section contains three subsections- Performance, System Details and Pricing.
The Performance subsection includes annual production, sunhours, annual usage, self-powered percentage and system losses details.
The System Details subsection includes system size, panel manufacturer, inverter manufacturer, panel name, inverter name, total panels, number of inverters, mounting type and roof type details.
The Pricing subsection includes the PPW (price per watt) and escalation details.
Step 4: The PPW, inverter name, escalation rate, and mounting type (roof mount, ground mount, or new home construction roof mount) can be edited by clicking on the "Edit" icon in their respective subsections.
Step 5: Update the inverter selection by selecting the required inverter from the drop-down box. Then click “Save”.
