Change Order Walkthrough
Points to Remember:
- Once you raise a change order request, a new proposal is created in the system will all the details of the current proposal.
- Once the proposal is created, all the steps such as proposal signing, and contract signing need to be followed (Follow the previous articles).
Detailed Steps:
Step 1: Click on the Projects menu from the navigation panel and go to the details of the project.
Step 2: Click on the change order button (may be in the +More dropdown), upon clicking it will pop up a confirmation message "Click Yes to proceed ahead."
After you raise a change order request, a new proposal is created and the proposal stage is shifted to Presented from Contract Signed. After you have created a change order request, follow the below-mentioned steps:
Initially the stage of the project was Contract Signed as in diagram below(this can be seen in the customers page)
After you confirm the change order step as above, the proposal is cloned and the status of the proposal will change to Presented and you will be automatically redirected to the page where you can make changes to your proposal.
In this case you will have to get the Proposal and Contract Signed Once again. When this proposal moves to final stage i.e., contract signed, the platform does not create a new project,but the data in the project is updated.
