How To Use And Enable NREL Jail Functionality?

In SubcontractorHub, NREL Jail is a control mechanism used by Admins to ensure that proposals using the NREL data source for designs meet company standards. If a sales rep is found misusing or incorrectly creating NREL proposals, Admins can restrict their access by placing them in NREL Jail.

This enforcement ensures that all future proposals using NREL as a source require admin-level approval, maintaining accuracy and accountability.

Here's a step-by-step rundown process for implementing the "NREL Jail" functionality in SubcontractorHub:

Step 1: From your Admin account, go to the left-hand menu. Click “Users & Roles” and select “Users” to view the user list.

Step 2: From the user list, locate and select the sales rep you want to restrict.

Step 3: Click on their “eye icon” to open the user details.

Step 4: Click “Edit”.

Step 5: Scroll down, check the “NREL Jail” box, and click “Update.” This will restrict the user from using NREL without admin approval.
