How to Enable Domestic Content Toggle for IGS Solar?
To share adder data with IGS, you must first enable the IGS Domestic Content Toggle in your settings. This toggle allows you to control whether or not domestic content information is sent to IGS when generating a proposal. Follow the steps below to enable the toggle and assign the required permission to user roles.
Step 1: Navigate to the “Hi, Username” option in the top right corner. Select "Settings" from the drop-down menu.
Step 2: Scroll down in your settings to find “Incentives/Financing”.
Step 3: Click on the “Edit” button on the right.
Step 4: Scroll down to find “Show IGS Domestic Content Toggle” and enable its permission.
Step 5: Scroll back up and click “Update”.
Step 6: To enable the Domestic Content toggle for IGS in your proposal, start by selecting a valid utility from the dropdown menu and clicking Patch Utility to apply the selection.
Once the utility is set, make sure the Domestic Content toggle is enabled, this allows adder data to be shared with IGS.
If the proposal is part of an Energy Community, it will be marked as Yes, indicating eligibility for related incentives. Depending on the proposal setup, Title Verification may also be required.
How to Enable IGS Domestic Content Toggle Permission?
To access the IGS domestic content toggle, the permission must be enabled in the user profile for that role.
Note: If the user does not have the permission, they will not be able to operate the domestic content toggle.
Step 1: Click “Users & Roles” and go to “User Profiles”.
Step 2: Click “Customers”.
Step 3: Navigate to “IGS Domestic Content Toggle” and enable the toggle.
Now you have successfully enabled IGS Domestic Content Toggle permission for your proposal
