Google Maps Static Imagery Source for NREL (Manual Design) Mode
Read the article below to understand how the AI-Assisted design tool flow changes when choosing “Imagery C” (Google Maps) as the imagery source.
Choosing Google Maps as the Imagery Source in Any Mode
When a sales rep chooses “Imagery C” (Google Maps) as the option for the imagery data source in any mode (e.g., “Default), the design mode will automatically convert to “NREL (Manual Design)".
Click “Yes” to continue with the design.
Sales reps must enter edit mode and manually draw facets to create a layout in this mode.
Switching to Google Maps as the Imagery Source in NREL (Manual Design) Mode
If a sales rep has already selected “NREL (Manual Design)" as the design mode, the AI-Assisted design tool will auto-select an imagery source based on data availability at the customer’s address. This may or may not be Google Maps.
To switch to Google Maps, open the “Imagery” dropdown and select “Imagery C”.
Click “Yes” to complete the switch.
