How to Set Up and Use Custom Lenders
SubcontractorHub users can set up custom loan companies within the database, which can later be added to proposals when using Manual Entry financing.
Follow the steps below to learn how to set up manual entry financing, add custom lenders to the database and finance proposals with custom lenders (leases or loans).
How to Enable Manual Entry Financing
Follow the steps below to enable manual entry financing for your proposals.
Step 1: From the main menu, open your profile and select “Settings”.
Step 2: Locate “Incentives/Financing” and click the “Edit” icon.
Step 3: Enable the “Finance Using Own Database For Proposal” setting and click “Update”.
How to Set Up Custom Lenders
Follow the steps below to set up custom lender companies within your database.
Step 1: From the main menu, open the “Manage Database” dropdown and select “Database”.
Step 2: Open the “Additional” dropdown and select “Custom Lenders”.
Step 3: Click “+Add” to add a new custom lender.
Step 4: Add the name of the company and click “Save”.
How to Finance Proposals with Custom Lenders
Follow the steps below to finance a proposal using your custom lender.
Step 1: From the financing section of the proposal, select “Financing(Manual Entry)”.
Step 2: Select “Custom Loan” or “Custom TPO” depending on whether your custom lender provides loan or lease financing.
Adding a Custom Loan
Step 1: Enter the details of the loan and select the lender from the “Loan Company” dropdown.
Step 2: Click “Add Loan”.
Step 3: A finance card will be generated with the details of your custom loan. Click “Finalize” to finalize the quote. Qualification from the platform is not available for Manual Entry financing.
Adding a Custom Lease
Step 1: Enter the details of the lease and select the lender from the “TPO Company Name” dropdown.
Step 2: Click “Create Quote”.
Step 3: A finance card will be generated with the details of your custom lease. Click “Finalize” to finalize the quote. Qualification from the platform is not available for Manual Entry financing.
