How to Qualify with Sunlight Financial
Follow the steps below to qualify your homeowner for Sunlight Financial financing.
Step 1: The Sunlight Financial finance card will be generated with details of the financing option. Click “Finalize”.
Step 2: Now the quote is finalized and your customer is ready to qualify for Sunlight Financial’s financing. Click “Qualify” to qualify your customer.
Note: Clicking “Send Application To Homeowner” sends the qualification form to your customer via email. They can open the link from the email and qualify themselves.
Step 3: Enter the customer’s details, check the acknowledgement boxes, and then click “Next”.
Step 4: Read the disclosures and check the acknowledgement box then, click “Submit Credit Application”.
Step 5: Your customer’s credit score will decide whether they are eligible for Sunlight Financial financing. If your customer qualifies, you will receive a congratulatory pop-up window. Click “Ok”.
Approved Credit Application
When a homeowner qualifies, the “Qualify” icon will transition to blue and read "Qualified". You can continue with signing finance documents and completing the proposal.
Approved with Stipulations
If the customer’s credit application is approved with stipulations, you can still continue with signing finance documents and completing the proposal. The “Qualify” button will transition to blue and read “Approved with stipulations”.
Declined Credit Application
If the customer’s credit application is denied, the finance card will read “Declined” as showcased in the image below. You can opt to create a new proposal if the customer would like to reapply with different credit details.
