How to Add Adders
Adders are essential components that can enhance the proposal creation process by including specific costs and details. This guide outlines the steps to add, edit, and manage adders within SubcontractorHub.
Step 1: Navigate to the “Manage Database" option in the main menu
Step 2: Click on “Database”.
Step 3: Go to the “Solar System" section.
Note: In addition to Solar System adders, you can also add and manage adders for other job types, such as roofing, HVAC or batteries, following similar steps. This ensures all job-specific costs and options are available when creating proposals, providing a tailored and accurate representation of the requirements.
Step 4: Select “Adders”.
Step 5: Click on the “+Add” button.
Step 6: Select the adders you want to make visible while creating a proposal for users. You can also contact your Account Manager to add adders to the master list.
Step 7: Click “Add”.
Step 8: A confirmation popup will appear. Click “Yes” to finalize the addition of the selected adders.
How to Add Adders Manually
Step 1: To add adders manually, click "Add Adder".
Step 2: Fill out the adder details such as Name, Adder Category, Unit Type, Territory, Price and more.
Step 3: Once done, click "Add".
How to Edit Adder Details
Step 1: Locate the adder you want to modify.
Step 2: Click on the "eye" icon to view the details of the selected adder.
Step 3: Click on “Edit” to modify basic information about the adder.
Note: The database now includes adders for batteries under the “Battery” section. With this update, kWh has been added as a unit type for calculating battery adder pricing. When creating a proposal, the system will use the battery size as the adder quantity.
Step 4: After making the required changes, click “Update”.
Step 5: To include additional territories, click on “Add New Territory”.
Step 6: Select the "new territory" and fill in the required details.
Step 7: Click “Add” to save the new territory.
Step 8: To update pricing, select the specific territory by ticking the checkbox next to it.
Step 9: Enter the updated pricing information.
Step 10: Click “Update” to save the changes.
By following these steps, you can efficiently add and manage adders in your database, ensuring accurate and comprehensive proposal creation.
