How to Design Flat Roof and Ground Mount Solar Layouts with the AI-Assisted Design Tool

Follow the steps below to create a flat or ground-mounted solar layout using the AI-Assisted Design tool.

Step 1: Set the crosshair over the home and click “Run AI Design”. 

Step 2: The AI-Assisted design will be generated automatically. 

Step 3: Click on the "Edit" icon in the left corner.

Step 4: The panels are shown in edit mode. Click the "Draw Facet" icon. 

Step 5: To create a facet for a flat roof type or ground mount, turn on the “Flat” toggle before drawing.

Step 6: After drawing a flat facet, click “Done” to fill the facet with panels.

Step 7: When the design is complete, click “Save”.
