How to Set Up Show Dealer Fee on Proposal Finance Dropdown

A dealer fee is a financing charge paid by the contractor to the lender, typically passed along to the homeowner as part of the loan. In SubcontractorHub, admins can choose whether or not this fee appears when selecting manual entry finance options within proposals. Follow the steps below to configure the “Show Dealer Fee” setting for each lender in your database.

Step 1: From the main menu, go to “Manage Database" and select "Lenders”.

Step 2: Select the lender for whom you wish to show dealer fees.

Step 3: From the basic information section, click “Edit”.

Step 4: By default, the “Show Dealer Fee” box is checked as shown in the image below.

Step 5: If you wish to remove the dealer fee from the finance dropdown, uncheck the “Show Dealer Fee” box and then click “Update”

Note 1: If the “Show Dealer Fee” box is checked then when creating a proposal, the dealer fee will show up in the manual entry finance dropdown.

Note 2: If the “Show Dealer Fee” box is not checked then when creating a proposal, the dealer fee will not show up in the manual entry finance dropdown.
