How to Set Up and Manage Perfect Packet
Perfect Packet acts as a checklist of documents or information needed before a contract can be generated and signed. It helps ensure all necessary items are provided and verified, streamlining the processes, reducing errors, and ensuring compliance.
Follow the steps below to create a new Perfect Packet and manage its visibility across your connected sales orgs.
To Set Up a New Perfect Packet:
Step 1: From the main menu go to "Manage Database", click “Database”.
Step 2: Open the “Additional” dropdown and select “Perfect Packet”.
Step 3: You will see a list of all existing Perfect Packets. To create a new one, click the “+ Add” button.
Step 4: In the Add Perfect Packet form, fill in the following fields:
- Label: Enter a user-friendly name for the packet (e.g., “Utility Bill”).
- Key: Enter a unique identifier (usually auto-generated from the label).
- Job Type: Select the relevant job type from the dropdown (e.g., Solar).
- Is Required: Choose “Yes” if this packet must be submitted; otherwise, select “No.”
- Type: Specify the data type—most commonly, this will be “File.”
- Is Multiple File: Tick this checkbox if the packet should allow multiple files to be uploaded.
Once complete, click the “Save” button in the top-right corner.
Step 5: To manage existing packets:
- Click the "pencil icon" to edit any existing Perfect Packet. This will reopen the form where you can modify packet details.
- Click the "trash can icon" to delete a packet that is no longer needed. Use the table view to filter, search, and review all created packets, including their status, job type, file type, and whether they support multiple files.
