How to Set Escalation Values for Your Proposals?

Want more control over pricing flexibility in your proposals? SubcontractorHub lets you set escalation limits to ensure margins stay within a safe range. Follow these steps to define minimum and maximum escalation percentages for your proposals.

Step 1: Navigate to the “Hi, Username” option in the top right corner.

Step 2: Click “Settings”.

Step 3: Scroll down the settings page to find the “Public Proposal” settings.

Step 4: Click on the “Edit” button.

Step 5: Scroll down to find the Minimum and Maximum Escalation values and set their percentage. The minimum values cannot be lower than 1 and the maximum cannot be above 10.

Note:  The default value is always set at 4 in your proposal.

Step 6: Scroll back up and click “Update”.

Note: These escalation settings define how much users can increase a proposal’s price. They will be able to adjust the total cost between the minimum and maximum percentages you set—no less, no more.
