Set Up Discounts
There are several types of discounts- promotional discounts, self site survey discounts and instant rebate discounts on panels with cash finance.
Follow the steps below to set up the aforementioned discounts.
Step 1: Click on the profile in the top right corner, then select “Organization”.
Step 2: Click on the “Settings” tab.
Step 3: Click “Discount Setting”.
Step 4: Click on the pencil icon to edit the discount settings.
Step 5: Input the discount name and percentage. Then click “Update”.
Step 6: Click “Publish”.
Note: A non-promotional discount will only apply to the price of solar panels and will be added automatically to the pricing summary. If you wish to apply promotional discounts, follow the next steps to add them to the database.
Step 7: To add promotional discounts, select “Yes” in the promotional discount settings, then click “Update”.
Step 8: Click “Publish”.
Step 9: From the dashboard, click the “Database” tab in the main menu.
Step 10: Click “Promotional Discounts” in the Solar Database menu.
Step 11: Click “Create”.
Step 12: Input the name of the discount and promo code. Then choose the price type and price. If creating a discount with the percentage price type, set a maximum price. Once a maximum price is set, the discount percentage will not apply to higher prices. Instead, the percentage amount of the maximum price will apply.
Select the states to which the discount will apply. Then choose the start and end date of the discount. This is optional. Check the “Add By Default” checkbox to add the discount by default. This is also optional. Then click “Create”.
Step 13: You can now view the promotional discounts in the database. Click on the three dots to view the discount details, where you can edit the discount information and edit discount prices. By clicking on the three dots you can also disable the discount.
Add A Self Site Survey Discount
Step 14: Click “Self Site Survey”.
Step 15: Click on the pencil icon to edit the Self Site Survey discount settings.
Step 16: Toggle Self Site Survey on and input the discount amount, then click “Update”.
Step 17: Click “Publish”.
