Utility Request Feature

At SubcontractorHub, we are always looking for ways to make your solar sales process easier and faster. That's why we are excited to announce our latest feature: Utility Request.

With SubcontractorHub’s Sales Velocity, you can select utility companies from our existing large database of Utility Providers, which covers most of the utilities in the US. The rates and tariffs are already integrated into our platform, which helps us and our AI design software to calculate the required system size and production to give you the desired offset.

But what if your customer's utility is not available in our database? No worries, we have you covered. Utility Request is a simple and convenient way to access the utility company of your potential solar customers that are unavailable within SubcontractorHub. As soon as you start building your proposal, the first option you get is to select the Utility Provider. If your customer's utility is not available, you can simply click on the get help button and request their utility be added to the database. You just have to insert the Utility's name and Tariff name and submit it. SubcontractorHub's excellent support team will update the utility for you to finish your proposal.

But that's not all. SubcontractorHub also allows you to add custom utility rates to the pre-existing utility list in the database. This feature is especially useful for organization admins who want to use different rates for different states. To add custom utility rates, the admins would simply have to go to Database, Utility List, and select Custom. Then they can add the utility and the state they wish to have custom rates for and update their custom rates for the selected utility company.
