How to Schedule an Automation


Automation is a valuable feature in project management, allowing you to automatically send texts, emails, or updating fields when you start, change, or are in the progress of your project stage, or when the specific field gets updated. Follow the steps below to schedule an Automation


Step 1: Click on the Database option in SubcontractorHub.

Step 2: Find the “Additional” option at the bottom of the list on the left and click on “Automation”.

Step 3: Click on the “Add New Automation” button to schedule a new automation.

Step 4: Add a title for your automation, select the Type of automation (Email, Text Message, and Update Fields), Type of Module, and Type of Job as mentioned in the pop-up window.

Step 5: Proceed below and select the option that specifies when and during which stage automation should be employed.


Note: A new automation option has been added for job stage status changes.

Select "Field" for the automation.

Select your "Field Value" and click “Configure”.


Step 6: Click on the “Save” button to save and employ your automation.

Note: Automations can now be set up for Proposals with three new options to trigger automations. 

  • When Public Proposal Viewed: This trigger activates when a customer views a public proposal link.
  • When Welcome Call URL Generated: This trigger is activated when a unique Welcome Call link is created for the customer. 
  • When Welcome Call Completed: This trigger activates once the Welcome Call is successfully finished.
