renewable energy certificate, or REC (pronounced: rěk, like wreck), is a market-based instrument that represents the property rights to the environmental, social, and other non-power attributes of renewable electricity generation.
SREC is a reward / refund program which is initiated by the State to refund some amount to house owners who set up Solar Panels. This program is only applicable to
Solar Job Types.
How is the SREC amount calulated?
REC pricing is calculated on the basis of Block Group, Block Program and the amount varies for different system size as per kW.
When a proposal is made, depending upon the values selected for Block Group and Block Program the system gets the data from the database as the per System size in kW.
The SREC amount is divided into 2 parts: FED Pricing and State Price
